Our Journey Continues . . . KETO!

For many reasons (mostly health-related), we decided start the KETO journey. We heard many testimonies about the power of KETO in healing the body and as we continue this journey to a greener and healthier lifestyle, KETO seemed like a perfect fit. We decided to try the KETO way of life in hopes that one of the side effects would be weight-loss. 

Basically, KETO is a high-fat, adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet that forces the body to burn fat instead of carbohydrates for fuel. This is the way our Creator made and designed our bodies to operate and this is the thing we like most about this lifestyle.

Our bodies work best when they operate the way nature intended. Unfortunately, the introduction of high-sugar and highly-processed foods has switched our bodies from fat-burning to carb-burning machines. If you research this topic (like we did), you will find both positive and negative information about the KETO way of life. For our journey, the positives far outweighed the negatives and KETO was the best decision for achieving better health.

We will be posting some additional information on this topic which will include useful tips and tricks and some fabulous KETO recipes. We spend a lot of time trying new things and looking for ways to make this journey easier. Through our experiences and our trial and error, we are hopeful our posts will be helpful to those who decide to try the KETO way of life.
