This is a review of the Gekks product
Gekks are semi-permanent sock-inserts for your shoes. I had no issues with the order process itself, however, the order-processing and delivery-process was not so good. I ordered these online and after two weeks, the order status still said, “being processed”. I contacted them via email to inquire as to why it was taking so long to process my order. They responded with a very brief, “we are busy”, and said my order would ship within 2 business days. After 3 business days, my order still showed, “being processed”. I reached out again through email and requested to cancel my order. It was at this point the company went totally dark. I did not hear back from them for almost a week at which point, they informed me my order had been filled, was in the final stages of shipping and it was not possible to cancel. My take-away was they delayed responding to me so that they did not lose a sale. They did not apologize for the delay or my inconvenience nor did they offer any coupons or discounts. They did not even offer to cover the shipping costs – even though it took more than a month to receive my order. At the time I placed the order, no indication was made that it would take 30+ days for them to process it. That being said, since I already paid for these overpriced socks and was not able to cancel, I decided to at least give them a try.

I do have to say, the product itself is nice, however, if you do not like delays in order processing or get frustrated with poor customer service, I would recommend you stay away from this company and their products. I personally prefer good customer service to go along with good products but ultimately, you have to decide what you are willing to tolerate. I waited over 30 days for my order and spent a lot more time than I should have trying to communicate with a company who did not want to take care of their customer. In the end, I did keep the product, however, I will not order from them again.
